I've been booking bands for events for over 40 years, and can tell you, it's extremely rare to find a talented band that can not only faithfully render the best songs from last week - but also master a huge repertoire from each of the last six decades, while doing each number justice, and all while being so very easy to work with - and looking like they are having fun performing!

At the RCYC, Running Red Lights is THE favourite band by far - with every age group and with fans of virtually every genre you can dance to. 

Their musicianship, the great vocals, and their energy on stage allow them to really engage their audience - so much so that the often reserved yacht club crowd lets loose, with a packed dance floor all night long, and the last set often gets some of  our millennials crowd surfing, while the rest of us party like it's 1999. 

We book the band for both our biggest regattas and for the biggest "young professionals" Roaring 20s parties - and they are a hit at both. And then attendees book them for their own weddings - while people attending weddings elsewhere at the club come downstairs to crash our regatta parties!  They are indeed, that good. 

I love working with Kevin and Scarlett, and the first thing I do each year when setting a date for our biggest regatta is make sure that RRL is available. Highly recommended.

Running Red Lights puts on an energetic and varied live act that is sure to keep the dancefloor filled. Scarlett and the boys were amazing to deal with as our wedding band, from new song requests, to incorporating their act into our wedding speeches, they provided a full-service music production and were fantastic to work with. Running Red Lights performed for our wedding in Toronto in September 2016.  Their performance far exceeded our expectations.  We had listened to them a quite a bit online beforehand, on YouTube and on the Running Red Lights website, but they sounded even better in person.  Our song requests were also played even better than we had hoped, and the few minutes that Running Red Lights played our wedding song was the best moment of my whole wedding for me.

They were all so professional and kind as well.  Scarlett is a pleasure to correspond with and some of our wedding guests spoke with some members of the band at the end of the night and commented on their friendliness.  We also got the same reviews from our guests as our opinion of the band’s performance.  Not to mention the band members all looked great up there!

All in all, Running Red Lights made our wedding what it was and created the perfect atmosphere for us.  I would hands down recommend them to anyone, for any event.

RRL are absolutely phenomenal. We got them to play at our wedding and they blew everyone away -- nobody left the dance floor all night! This was our second time seeing them play a wedding and they did not disappoint. They are all super talented, and were very flexible to play just about any type of music for our ceremony, first dances, and reception. They are an awesome cover band, but also play cool original stuff. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves great music and wants an unforgettable party.
